Day 2

After a delicious breakfast, we shall transfer and fly with an aero link flight vessel south to Bwindi impenetrable gorilla national park overseeing the Kigezi highlands which Winston Churchill named “the Switzerland of Africa”. You expect to have great views of the Virunga volcanoes located on the boarders of Uganda, Rwanda and Congo. We shall land at Kihihi airfield and then drive less than an hour to our hotel close to the magical Bwindi Impenetrable forest

Day 3

Enjoy your breakfast and then have a briefing by the park rangers about the gorilla tracking. Soon afterwards you will begin off the memorable adventure in the forest in search for the gorillas which also gives chances of seeing other primates like the black and white Colobus monkeys; vervet monkeys olive baboons, and many more plus some forest birds. Meet and stay with the gorillas for one hour and descend back from the forest.

We shall then have a graduation ceremony to congratulate you for having accomplished the hike through the impenetrable gorilla forest and we drive for an hour to Ishasha south of Queen Elizabeth where we shall have a sun downer picnic as we celebrate having se the Mountain Gorillas

Day 4

In the morning after a cup of tea, you will enjoy a morning game drive so as to catch up with the early risers as they come out from their hide outs like the lions, buffaloes, hyenas warthogs, topis, elephants, hippos, leopards and much more wildlife that thrives in the open savannah wilderness of Ishasha. This will be followed by a breath taking boat cruise along the famous Kazinga channel that connects lakes George and Edward rich in viewings of the crocodiles, hippos, water birds, and sun bathing buffalos, wallowing elephants, hyenas and unique encounters with wildlife

Day 5

On this day you will drive west of Queen Elizabeth to Kibale forest national park that is famous for its large numbers of Primates such as Chimpanzees, colobus monkeys, mangabeys and close to 320 different bird species. The forest is home to around 1500 different chimpanzees and a family of 120 members is habituated for visitor visitation. Expect to reach early enough for lunch at your hotel and go for an afternoon chimpanzee trekking experience in the beautiful tropical rain forests.

Day 6

With a bag full of beautiful memories, we shall leave for Entebbe with a lunch stop in Kampala the capital of Uganda where you will have a chance to do a short city tour as you transfer to your hotel to wash off as you prepare for another epic wildlife encounter in Tanzania’s Serengeti and Ngorongoro national parks

Day 7

All beautiful things have an end; today you will have a relaxed morning and transfer to Entebbe international airport later for a short flight to Arusha where you will meet our patner guide and transfer to your hotel for an amazing relaxed evening

Day 8

Today we shall have a flight the Serengeti national park that offers more just wildlife sightings

Day 9

We have another full day in this wonderful park, rising early to make the most of our time. Our guides will choose the best spotting locations for the time of year; we can spend time at the Hippo pool watching these majestic animals laze about in the cool water happily living alongside the crocodiles, watch a big pride of lions, be in the middle of the migration, sometimes surrounded by wildebeest, sometimes by zebras, which travel with the wildebeest. We journey from the wide open plains to the kopjes: these volcanic rocky outcrops provide protection and shelter for a wide variety of animals and from the top, we can look out across the vast grasslands of the Serengeti. This diverse and interesting landscape will provide us with the ultimate in game viewing, we will hopefully see all of the plain games; elephants, giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, lions and if you are lucky the elusive leopard and cheetah, as well as huge amounts of interesting birdlife, from the elegant secretary birds to the flightless ostrich. We return to our special tented camp for the night.

Day 10

We start the day with an early morning game drive before heading to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Ngorongoro is a special place in that it is a Conservation Area, not a National Park; this means that the whole area is managed for both the animals and the local Masai people who graze their cattle alongside the indigenous wildlife. During the drive in Ngorongoro, we have a chance to glimpse something of the Masai way of life. After stopping at the entrance gate, where there is a chance to learn more about this fascinating volcanic landscape, we will drive around the rim of the Crater itself, and from here we can look down and see the herd of wildebeest or buffalos. Finally, we descend into the crater. The crater walls provide a natural sanctuary for the animals, which means there is plenty to see: lions, elephants, buffalo, rhino and leopard (if you are lucky). The only animal you won’t see in here is a giraffe, whose long legs are unable to cope with the steeps sides of the crater. In the late afternoon, we travel to Karatu.

Day 11

Today we shall drive to Lake Manyara national park that is famous for the great sightings of tree climbing lions, leopards and much more wildlife in the pretty Tanzanian wilderness. Expect to have enough safari hours in the park, have lunch and transfer to Arusha for an overnight or flight to Zanzibar for a relaxing 3 to 5 days island holiday.
